What is Destiny?

People often claim that destiny is unchangeable, but in reality, it can be influenced by the choices we make. Our decisions have the power to shape our lives and alter the course we are destined to follow. In our society, there is a prevailing notion that life is a race, and indeed it is. From the very beginning, even before we were born, we competed against millions of other sperm cells to exist in this world. Our race began before our life commenced. However, the true question at hand is not whether life is a race or not, but rather whether we are participating in the right race.
My name is Bambino Mariefort, and I am a Developer, a content writer, an aspiring Entrepreneur, and an Author. I have made choices that have molded me into the person I am today. Some choices have provided me with cherished memories, while others have served as valuable lessons. It is through our choices that we shape our identities.
Some choose to create, while some choose to use.
Some choose to live, while the rest choose to survive.
Some choose to go behind their dreams, while the rest runs to fulfill others' dreams.
Many choose to throw away, while some invest.
Many run for money, while some make money run for them
Believe me, I've experienced both ends of the spectrum, and life has imparted lessons that I wish I had learned earlier. Making choices is something anyone can do, but making the right choice requires wisdom. In the self-centered society we inhabit, it can be challenging to navigate through the options and choose wisely. Many individuals dream of soaring while riding a bicycle, envisioning a destination that seems disconnected from their actual journey. This has become a common reality for many young people today. However, they eventually come to realize this when they find themselves caught up in the rat race.
What is a Rat Race?
The rat race symbolizes the relentless pursuit of success and material wealth in modern society, where individuals find themselves trapped in a never-ending cycle of competition and societal expectations. Driven by the desire for professional advancement and social status, people often sacrifice personal well-being and fulfillment. Breaking free from the rat race requires reevaluating priorities, seeking a balanced life aligned with personal values, and embracing a path that prioritizes meaningful work, healthy relationships, and self-care. It's a journey of self-discovery and regaining control over one's life, escaping the pressures of the competitive and materialistic world that the rat race represents.
However, it is important to note that going to a job itself is not necessarily synonymous with being caught in a rat race; it depends on whether that job aligns with your personal goals and
aspirations. For instance, if I have aspirations of starting a software company in the future and I am currently working as an employee, then I am on the right track. I am gaining valuable experience and knowledge that will contribute to my long-term goals. However, if my dream is to become an actor, and I find myself stuck in an IT job with a high salary but no connection to my true passion, then I am indeed caught in the rat race. There are many thought-provoking topics yet to be explored, and upcoming blog posts will delve into subjects that empower you to live the life you are meant to lead, rather than simply executing a life that others impose upon you.
